Uganda Citizen Budget Database
ACODE, through it's Economic Governance programme, developed an online database to provide budget data and to make it easy for citizens and other users to access timely information on the national budget. We recognise that public access to budget information is essential to accountability and key in achieving our objective of raising budget civic consciousness of the citizens of Uganda. ACODE's commitment to openness derives from the desire to build the demand-side of accountability and ensuring that public policies, including expenditure, benefit the people. Access to the data provided here is free and open to all.
This portal is an invaluable tool for research and understanding the patterns and trends of public expenditure in Uganda.
